Our highly experienced Head of Production will take you through the fundamentals of the cost manager with tips and tricks when moving money and how it correlates with a budget and schedule.
After lunch, you’ll be dealing with real world scenarios, how to get costs down, managing overspends and dealing with quotes.
Following this practical, hands-on training, dealing with the production finances will no longer be a balancing act…

Viki Carter is a hugely experienced Production Consultant and Trainer with over two decades of experience in Production Management, starting out as a Production Secretary and rising through the ranks to Head of Production at indies large and small. Her work has spanned non-scripted formats, documentaries, and entertainment shows from Interior Design Masters (BBC1) to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Superstar (ITV1) to Secrets of the Salisbury Poisonings (Discovery+). Viki is passionate about nurturing the next generation of production managers and now spends much of her time training in all areas of production management with a particular fondness for negotiating and managing money!
